OUR AIM: To raise musical awareness & promote understanding of all types of musical ability.
As a cooperative, members are asked to give some of their time and expertise freely to help other members raise their own standards.
CAN YOU: Write a song; compose music; play an instrument
ARE YOU: A camera operator; A sound engineer
DO YOU: Sing; have a group; want studio facilities; have video facilities;
own a club/pub/theatre/hold music events/have legal training/copyright law/performance rights/public liability insurance/contracts/royalties

THINK ABOUT THIS!
You may need help mastering your instrument – maybe we have an expert offering to teach.
You’re thinking of cutting a disc and need a one-off backing sound – call us.
You booked a gig and a band member can’t make it for whatever reason – don’t cancel, call us – we could find a temp replacement.
FUTURE AIMS:
Never mind the Turner Art Centre! What about the M.M.C. Centre – The Margate Music Centre?! All music facilities under one roof.
As a self-help cooperative it IS possible. It just takes commitment and time.
